Rajni Shah Projects has been producing high quality, risk-taking performances in public spaces and theatres for the past ten years under the leadership of Rajni Shah. The company has a reputation for delivering political, socially engaged work that is visually striking, highly accessible and accessible to diverse audiences.

Glorious is the third in a trilogy of large-scale pieces by Rajni Shah Projects, and is being researched and developed as an innovative piece of musical theatre. The company plans to use this genre to facilitate engagement with artists, communities and audiences in each of ten locations across the UK.

From a full blown orchestra to a small folk band, in each location the score will be adapted and arranged by composers Ben and Max Ringham in collaboration with musical director Suzie Shrubb to suit the instruments available, effectively re-imagining the work each time it's performed.

We are now looking for an instrumental music group to take part in our performance of Glorious on February 26th 2011 at a Nottingham venue to be confirmed. We are looking for any size or type of amateur musical group with an interest in the project.

Expressions of interest are invited from groups in the local area by November 1st 2010

The schedule has yet to be confirmed in detail but there will be rehearsals in the venue leading up to the performance and our Musical Director Suzie Shrubb will be available to rehearse with you during your normal rehearsal time.
